Welcome to The Black Abbot!
The Black Abbot pub is located on the outskirts of Montrose in Borrowfield. We always have something special on offer: when it's cold outside, keep warm by the fire while in summer you and the kids will enjoy our outdoor family seating area.
You'll savour our selection of ales, lagers, spirits, fine wines and non-alcoholic drinks - the perfect way to spend time with friends.

Our Function Suite
Our function suite at The Black Abbot is available for your private party needs. There is no fee for the hire although a refundable £75 deposit is required
to hold the booking.
You are welcome to decorate the suite to your needs or we can do this for you at your request.
Buffet menus are available on request and we have an extensive list of DJ's and bands if required but if you decide to arrange your own food and entertainment then we are more than happy to just serve you on your special day!
